Edition 2025 — Appuntamenti in Terrazza
2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of Appuntamenti in Terrazza focused on French cinematic heritage, with a selection of restored classics screened on the terrace of the Institut français Palermo at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa. Titles included Paris qui dort, the first feature film by René Clair; Remorques by Jean Grémillon; Cléo de 5 à 7 by Agnès Varda, a Nouvelle Vague classic; and La Tulipe noire by Christian-Jaque starring Alain Delon.
The program also included activities by the Kultur Ensemble Palermo, the Franco-German program shared with the Goethe-Institut, and a cycle of Spanish films, Spazio femminile. Donne rurali, organized with the Instituto Cervantes of Palermo, RiverLab, and MIFDB, dedicated to women rooted in contemporary rural Spain. All screenings were free of charge, in the original language with Italian subtitles, confirming the pluralistic European vocation of the series in the heart of the Municipality of Palermo.
