Appennino Outdoor Fest

The second edition of the Appennino Outdoor Fest took place at the Parco del Chiù in Pontecchio (Sasso Marconi) on Saturday, September 28, and Sunday, September 29, 2024, opening on Saturday at 3:00 PM and on Sunday at 10:00 AM. Organized by Appennino Slow with the Municipality of Sasso Marconi and the Parco del Chiù Association, it offered walks, e-bike tours, and guided visits to discover historical sites in the area. Among the highlight excursions was "Le due vie" (The Two Paths), a walk along the Reno Valley where the Via degli Dei and the Via della Lana e della Seta intersect. For the little ones, there were "storytellers on bikes," creative workshops, traditional games, and a visit to the Piccolo Museo della Fiaba (Little Museum of Fairy Tales); there were also shows, music with a Latin American dance performance, and a food & drink area with crescentine, tigelle, and typical products from the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
