In 2025, the Appennino Festival stopped in Rocca Santa Maria, in the province of Teramo, on Sunday, July 20, as part of an edition held from May 4 to October 12, 2025, in 28 municipalities of the central Apennines affected by the 2016 earthquake.

The day began with a 9:45 AM meeting for the hike in the Monti della Laga Park, departing from the Ceppo area: a 9.35 km route with an elevation gain of 469 meters and an E (hiking) difficulty level, lasting about three and a half hours. In the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, the concert by the group “I Lupi della Majella” enlivened the stage with the Abruzzese folk repertoire, including songs, dances, and the famous saltarella. Participation was free with mandatory booking.
