Edition 2025 — Appennino Festival – Palmiano

In 2025, Palmiano hosted the first stop of the Appennino Festival on Sunday, May 4, as part of the 16th edition (May 4 – October 12, 2025, 27 events in 28 municipalities across four regions). The day combined a scenic hike with the sowing of the Sibillini Potato and a visit to a truffle ground, a Pro Loco lunch, and the concert by BandAdriatica.

The Palmiano stop on May 4, 2025, opened the schedule for the 16th edition of the Appennino Festival. The program included: gathering at 9:15 AM and departure at 9:30 AM for a scenic hike of 6.61 km (E difficulty, approx. 3.5 hours) towards the Sibillini Mountains, featuring the sowing of the Sibillini Potato and a visit to a local truffle ground, where a truffle farmer demonstrated the secrets of harvesting black truffle. Upon return, at 1:30 PM, the Pro Loco refreshment point offered a menu for €15; in the afternoon, starting at 3:00 PM, the concert by BandAdriatica blended Salento rhythms with Mediterranean sounds. The event took place in the Province of Ascoli Piceno, Marche region.
