Apfelfest / Sunnseitn Apple Week (Apple Festival)

In 2025, the Apple Festival of Natz-Schabs, in the Isarco Valley (South Tyrol), was held on Sunday, October 12, the second Sunday of October. The sunny plateau renewed its most beloved rural tradition with a day dedicated to harvest thanksgiving.

The festival opened in the morning with the Frühschoppen (white sausages, pretzels, music, and fresh apple tasting) and the farmers' market featuring typical plateau products. In the afternoon, the grand harvest parade traveled through the village with brass bands and decorated floats, showcasing the impressive crown of approximately 3,000 red and yellow apples. The day culminated in the crowning of the Apple Queen, ideally closing the Sunnseitn Apple Week.
