Edition 2025 — AntropoCine

The second edition of AntropoCine Film Fest took place in Rome from December 3 to 5, 2025, across two venues: the Cinema delle Province on Viale delle Province 41 and the Spazio Extra di Libera on Via Stamira 5. Three evenings with free admission, featuring documentaries and short films dedicated to the climate, the sea, animals, and environmental justice, followed by meetings with directors and associations. The festival concluded with a joint awards ceremony with the Clorofilla Film Fest.

AntropoCine Film Fest 2025

The second edition, promoted by Roma Green in partnership with Clorofilla Film Fest and the association Libera, opened on Wednesday, December 3 at 8:30 PM at the Cinema delle Province with speeches by Livio De Santoli and Fabrizio Rufo, followed by the screening of Breath (72') by Ilaria Congiu, about climate and industrial fishing, followed by a debate with Mila Cataldo (Marevivo) and the short films Aethusa, il mare svelato (15') by Claudio Valerio and L'uccello imbroglione (12') by David De Lillo Salucci.

Thursday, December 4, at the Spazio Extra di Libera, the program featured Lui mi aspetta (14') by Fabio Fontana and L'ultimo spettacolo (74') by Andrea Morabito, produced by LAV, with president Gianluca Felicetti; in the second slot, Il prezzo che paghiamo (37') by Sara Manisera with Alessandro Gianni from Greenpeace, Questi ragazzi (30') by Renato Chiocca, and Le piccole cose (17') by Giuseppe Cacace and Guido Massimo Calanca.

Friday, December 5, hosted the joint Clorofilla-AntropoCine awards ceremony, with a jury composed of Gaia Scorza Barcellona, Juliane Biasi, Edoardo Casoli, Emanuele Genovese, and Daniela Poggi, followed by the concert reading Non sopporto le cose storte with Andrea Carnì and Fabio Macagnino. During the final two days, the Extralibera multimedia exhibition on environmental defenders was open to the public.
