Edition 2025 — Anomalie
Anomalie 2025, the nineteenth edition
From August 30 to September 14, 2025, Largo Ferruccio Mengaroni in Tor Bella Monaca became the heart of Anomalie – Experimentation in the suburbs. The festival conceived by Kollatino Underground and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Rome Capital, and the Roma Creativa program brought contemporary circus back to one of the capital's most populous neighborhoods.
The program brought together 32 shows and 22 companies, with five national premieres, two regional ones, and one international one. The opening on August 30 was entrusted to Cose di casa by Maurizio Mancini (Uovo Elettrico), followed by Why Not? by Piero Ricciardi. Among the groups on the bill were Circo El Grito, Circo Bipolar, IF Circus, Silvia Laniado, Le Pagliacce, Circo Madera, Giorgia Dell'Uomo, and Steam Duo.
Formula and rates
The shows, mostly wordless and suitable for all audiences, started every day from 5 PM. Admission was free for residents of the Rome VI Municipality, while for others, the single ticket cost 3 euros and the daily pass 10 euros, with online pre-sales opening on August 26. Two limited-capacity shows, Come i pesci and Brigitte et le petit bal perdu, required reservations. The program also included circus, radio, and street art workshops.
