Annunziata Fair and Festival

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Maria SS. Annunziata took place from March 16th to 25th, combining moments of deep devotion and secular traditions. On Monday, March 24th, the statue of the Madonna was carried in procession along the town streets — Maria Manca, Armando Diaz, Maggiore Galliano, Mater Domini, Manzoni, Lecce, D'Annunzio, Nazario Sauro, Vanini, Santa Maria, Crocefisso, San Francesco, and the Mother Church — with the solemn Holy Mass at 6:00 PM celebrated by Archbishop Mons. Luigi Pezzuto.

On March 25th, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, the Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by the Archbishop of Lecce, Mons. Michele Seccia. The traditional fair was moved to Sunday, March 30th, enlivening the streets around the Sanctuary with stalls and street band performances, in the spirit of the community atmosphere that has characterized Squinzano for centuries.
