Edition 2025 — Anno Gerardino
The patronal festival of Saint Gerard Majella is celebrated every year in Muro Lucano on September 2. In 2025, on the eve of the Jubilee Year for the 300th anniversary of his birth, the occasion renewed the ancient devotion of the Muro community to its fellow saint, protector of mothers and children. The celebrations, preceded by the traditional novena, combined liturgical rites, a procession, and the participation of numerous pilgrims, anticipating the atmosphere of expectation for the great Gerardine celebrations.
