Edition 2025 — Anno Aloisiano

In 2025, the Diocese of Mantua and the city of Castiglione delle Stiviere began preparations for the Anno Aloisiano 2026, with the proclamation of the jubilee year and the start of the journey towards the third centenary of the canonization of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, patron saint of the city and protector of students.

2025 was the year of preparation for the Anno Aloisiano 2026. The Diocese of Mantua, with Bishop Marco Busca, proclaimed the jubilee year dedicated to Saint Aloysius Gonzaga in view of the third centenary of his canonization, and in Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN), anticipation grew for the celebrations. The usual feast of the dies natalis on June 21, in the Basilica-Sanctuary, represented one of the moments of approach to the extraordinary year that the saint's city was preparing to experience, amidst pilgrimages and the enhancement of the Aloysian places.
