Edition 2025 — Angiolillo Folk Fest
The 2025 edition of the Angiolillo Folk Festival was held in San Gregorio Magno (Province of Salerno, Campania) on August 5 and 6, as indicated in the Estate Gregoriana 2025 calendar. The formula that made the festival famous was confirmed: folk groups from Italy and abroad gathered in the town center for two days of popular music, traditional dances, and period costumes, under the care of the Gruppo Folklorico Gregoriano.
The event, which over the years has also received the patronage of the Senate of the Republic, renewed the awarding of the Angiolillo Award, the recognition named after the Gregorian brigand Angelo Duca and intended for those who distinguish themselves in the study of the popular traditions of Southern Italy.
The festival was one of the highlights of a particularly busy summer in San Gregorio Magno: from the "Turniata" of San Vito on June 15 to the celebrations of Santa Maria delle Grazie on August 14 and 15, up to Baccanalia from August 20 to 24, with tastings in the historic cellars carved into the rock, and the patronal feast in the first days of September.
