Angelo Custode Trophy 2025

In 2025, the Angelo Custode Trophy once again attracted runners and sports clubs to Priolo Gargallo from across the province of Syracuse. The race, a qualifying event for the Syracuse Provincial Running Grand Prix, was held on the usual flat one-kilometer city circuit, with start and finish in Piazza Quattro Canti.

As per tradition, starts were staggered by category, from youth races to absolute and master categories, both men's and women's. The event kicked off the celebrations for the Patron Saint Angelo Custode, the town's protector, celebrated between late September and the first days of October with processions and fireworks displays.
