Ancona History Festival

The 2025 edition, the seventh, of the Ancona History Festival was held from September 11th to 14th at the Mole Vanvitelliana, on the theme "Passions". Twenty-five meetings explored the passions that span history and current events — from politics to sports, from theater to music, from eros to food. Among the guests were Gianfranco Pasquino, who opened the event with a reflection on "Politics: vocation and participation", Nadia Urbinati, Felice Casson, Patrizio Bianchi, Patrizia Gabrielli, and Alberto Mantovani. On September 14th, a historical walk dedicated to Ancona and Garibaldi also took place, starting from the Museum of the Risorgimento. All meetings were free admission and no reservation required.
