Anciue – Anchovy Merchants' Fair

The 2025 edition of Anciue – Anchovy Merchants' Fair was held in Dronero, in Val Maira, from May 30 to June 1, 2025. The opening evening on Friday, May 30, lit up the Food Plaza with local specialties and concerts by the young Lhi Balos, joined by the Funky Club Orchestra, in a new project dedicated to Val Maira and anchovies. On Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1, the central days of the fair, the historic center was filled with stalls of local products, street food, valley crafts, and seafood delicacies, with the folk notes of Gran Bal Dub and the return of the Microcirco and bicycles animated by an artist-magician. The fully pedestrianized Sunday made strolling through the market, tastings, and experiential tourism offerings even more pleasant. The event, organized by the Municipality of Dronero and the Fondazione Amleto Bertoni, saw an increase in stalls and products compared to previous years.
