Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph Fair

The 2025 edition of the Ancient Saint Joseph Fair was held from March 21st to 23rd, with the main fair on Sunday, March 23rd, from 9am to 7pm. In line with the tradition linking the event to the feast of Saint Joseph and the arrival of spring, the squares of Vernio hosted the local market, the farm, and ancient farming crafts.

In 2025, the Ancient Saint Joseph Fair returned to its traditional March slot, close to the saint's feast day. The highlight on Sunday, March 23rd saw the market spread across Piazza 1° Maggio, the garden of the Direttissima Monument, along Via Fobiana, in Piazza San Leonardo, and in Piazza del Comune.

Among the initiatives were the farm with animals, rural craft demonstrations, children's workshops, and the Fair Tortelli served by the restaurateurs of Vernio, in the Bisenzio Valley. A festival that greets spring every year by celebrating the farming roots of the Prato Apennines.
