2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Ancient Monticino Festival was held in Brisighella on the weekend of Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14, enlivening the historic center of the Romagna village.
On Saturday, Piazza Carducci hosted the 52nd edition of the Frusta d'Oro (Golden Whip), the evocative competition of the s'ciucaren, the Romagna whip crackers, accompanied by live music, while food trucks animated the evening.
On Sunday, from 10:00 AM, the historic center was filled with markets for typical products and crafts, workshops for children and families, the panoramic train to the Rocca, and the funfair in the station square. Piazza Carducci featured live music by the Trio Italiano, Via Fossa hosted the food stall of the Circolo Borsi with meat and fish dishes, and in the afternoon, the "Passeggiata a Colori" (Color Walk) for all ages. The first edition of the Book Festival debuted in the Osservanza complex, with the town's museums—Manfrediana Fortress, Ugonia Museum, and Clock Tower—open for the occasion.
