Edition 2025 — Giostra del Pitu

The 2025 edition of the Ancient Giostra del Pitu took place on Sunday, April 6, in Tonco, in the province of Asti. Amidst the historical pageant, the trial in dialect, and the equestrian tournament, the Sant'Antonio district triumphed, led to victory by the young horsewoman Elisa Bevilacqua. The same district also won the prize for the best parade, showcasing the ancient craft of the baker.

The 2025 edition of the Ancient Giostra del Pitu in Tonco (AT) took place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in the heart of the Monferrato area of Asti.

The day followed the usual schedule: from 12:00 PM, refreshments by the Pro Loco with polenta, sandwiches, desserts, and wine; at 2:45 PM, the start of the parade from the Officine Casorzo with the "La Bersagliera" Band; at 4:00 PM, the trial, defense, and sentencing of the Pitu in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II; followed by the equestrian tournament between the seven districts.

The equestrian tournament was won by the Sant'Antonio district, thanks to the young horsewoman Elisa Bevilacqua. Sant'Antonio also took home the prize for the best parade, bringing the ancient craft of the baker to life.
