Edition 2025 — Ancient Flavors Tusa

In the summer of 2025, the Ancient Flavors Festival returned to Piazza Mazzini in Tusa, confirming its status as one of the top gastronomic events in the Messina village. Organized by the Circolo Anspi Arconide, the evening featured historic traditional Tusa dishes, from egg meatballs to vastelle, accompanied by light music and Sicilian folk.

The 2025 edition of the Ancient Flavors Festival enlivened the historic center of Tusa, in the province of Messina, with an August evening dedicated to local rustic cuisine. In Piazza Mazzini, at the foot of the Mother Church of Maria SS. Assunta, the stalls offered egg meatballs in tomato sauce, bruschetta with melted sardines, vastelle tusane, sandwiches with sausage and porchetta, and traditional desserts like cannoli and sfinci.

The setting, as every year, was provided by musical entertainment with a mix of light music and Sicilian folk and ballroom dancing, in a celebration that brought residents and visitors together in the heart of the town.
