Edition 2025 — Festival of Saint Valentine
In 2025, the Ancient Festival of Saint Valentine once again enlivened Montecchio Maggiore with the kiss of the saint's relic at the church on the hill and the traditional parade of masked floats through the town centre, led by the Pietro Ceccato Band, accompanied by a charity raffle, stalls, fairground rides, and a lottery, confirming its status as the oldest festival in the Vicenza town.
The 2025 edition of the Ancient Festival of Saint Valentine brought back to Montecchio Maggiore the dual soul of the festival: the devotion of the kiss of the relic and the parade of masked floats along the town centre, led by the Pietro Ceccato Band. There was also a charity raffle, stalls, fairground rides, and the lottery draw, in a day of tradition and celebration for the entire community.
