Ancient Fair of Tornimparte 2025

The 2025 edition of the Ancient Fair of Tornimparte was held from October 11 to 21 in the village of Villagrande. The event opened on Saturday, October 11, with the inauguration of the monument to "Ju Calenne" in Largo Capolitto, followed on Sunday, October 12, by the conference "Ju Calenne: roots, rituals, and community" in the G. Irace Council Chamber.

The heart of the fair was Wednesday, October 15, with the traditional livestock market, the truffle exhibition, and artisan and local produce stalls. The cultural program featured the school initiative "Tell me about the Fair" (October 16), the conference on "Heroic Viticulture in Abruzzo" (October 17), a musical performance by the Aquila Altera company in the church of San Panfilo (October 18), a meeting on the artist Saturnino Gatti and a concert by maestro Andrzej Hanzelewicz (October 19), and a lesson on "L'Aquila Lace" (October 21), confirming the deep bond between the fair and the traditions of the Tornimparte territory.
