Ancient Fair of Portomaggiore

The 601st edition of the Antica Fiera di Portomaggiore was held from September 19th to 22nd, 2025 in the Municipality of Portomaggiore, in the province of Ferrara. The inaugural ceremony took place on Friday, September 19th in Piazza Gandhi, next to the Zardi Sports Center.

The program featured the great traditions of the fair: the 51st edition of agricultural working demonstrations, held on Sunday, September 21st, in the fields of the Sorgeva farm; the evening tombola on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with a total prize pool of €21,000; and the Tracce cultural review with live concerts, readings, and meetings with artists and authors. Among the gastronomic offerings were the Jazz Café in Piazzetta Duomo and the Restaurant of Tradition. The edition concluded on Monday, September 22nd, with the traditional fireworks display.
