Edition 2025 — Anchovy Festival

The 2025 edition of the Anchovy Festival took place in Valverde from August 22 to 24, featuring three evenings of festivities in Piazza del Santuario. The program combined tastings curated by experts, live cooking demonstrations with chefs and industry professionals, activities for all ages, and evening shows, in a free-entry event dedicated to the anchovy and typical products of the Sicilian tradition.

2025 Anchovy Festival

The 2025 Anchovy Festival was held in Valverde, in the province of Catania, from Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, with evening events in Piazza del Santuario. Three days of tastings, live cooking demonstrations, and entertainment dedicated to the town's iconic fish.

The musical program featured the Music Tap Voice Orchestra in concert on Friday the 22nd, the RSC Dance DJ set by Radio Studio Centrale on Saturday the 23rd, and an evening of folk songs and traditional Sicilian dances on Sunday the 24th. Alongside the anchovy-based food stalls, there were activities for all ages and moments dedicated to maritime culture, all with free admission.
