Edition 2025 — An Azalea for Life

The 38th edition of An Azalea for Life confirmed the extraordinary generosity of Camporgiano and the Garfagnana. During the May weekend, between the distribution of solidarity azaleas in Piazza San Giacomo and the approximately 10km non-competitive fun run through the town's woods, the community mobilized to support cancer research by the AIRC Foundation.

The 2025 edition of An Azalea for Life saw a large turnout of the public and volunteers. Approximately 800 azaleas were distributed as a donation for research, while hundreds of people took part in the traditional 10km non-competitive fun run, crossing the woods and hamlets of Camporgiano, Vitoio, and Casatico.

Once again, this edition was made possible by local associations — the Fratres of Casatico-Vitoio, the Pro Loco, and the Misericordia of Camporgiano — with the patronage of the Municipality, confirming the strong bond between the town and the fight against cancer supported by the AIRC Foundation.
