Edition 2025 — Amore in Maschera

In 2025, the Orsogna Carnival continued to bring the village in the province of Chieti to life thanks to the efforts of the "Raffaele Paolucci" Pro Loco, which organizes masquerade celebrations in the historic center every year. The Orsogna community keeps its Carnival tradition alive, marked by the famous "three Thursdays" and the convivial spirit that characterizes the entire period.

The 2025 Carnival in Orsogna proved to be a heartfelt event for the community of the Abruzzo village in the province of Chieti. The "Raffaele Paolucci" Pro Loco enlivened the historic center with masquerade initiatives dedicated to families and children, following the long Carnival tradition of the town.

As per the Orsogna custom, the Carnival period was marked by the "three Thursdays"—Friends, Relatives, and Fat Thursday—days of convivial celebration among friends and family that make the Orsogna Carnival unique. A heritage of sociality and tradition that paved the way for subsequent editions, including Amore in Maschera in 2026.
