Thirty Years of Music in the Heart of the Fermo Area

The Concert Series of the Amici della Musica Association of Montegranaro has been a benchmark for lovers of cultured music in the Marche for decades. In the Municipality of Montegranaro, in the Province of Fermo, the series brings some of the greatest performers on the national and international scene to the stage of the Cineteatro La Perla, in a program that alternates chamber music with great symphonic works. The 2025/2026 season marks an important milestone: the association's thirty years of activity, celebrated with six high-level Sunday events.

Program for the 2026 Edition

The concerts are held on Sunday afternoons at 5:30 PM. After the season begins in autumn 2025, 2026 opens with four major events:

• January 18, 2026 – Francesco Di Rosa (oboe, principal oboe of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and artistic director) with the Trio Plavens, in a journey through Schubert, Mozart, Beethoven, and Astor Piazzolla.
• February 8, 2026 – Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana with Albrecht Mayer, principal oboe of the Berliner Philharmoniker, in the dual role of soloist and conductor, with music by Bach and Beethoven.
• March 8, 2026 – world-renowned flutist Andrea Oliva with the PiCello Bros (Francesco and Angelo Pepicelli), performing pieces by Ravel, Franck, and Shostakovich.
• April 19, 2026 – grand finale with the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana and Enrico Dindo on cello, as soloist and conductor.

An Excellence of Marche Culture

The strength of the series lies in its balance between big names and innovative proposals: alongside acclaimed performers, the season offers space for young Italian talents and a repertoire ranging from Viennese Classicism to the 20th century. The recurring presence of the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, one of the region's most important musical institutions, confirms the event's local roots and its role in promoting musical culture in the Fermo area.

Montegranaro and the Cineteatro La Perla

Montegranaro, a city known for its shoemaking tradition, preserves the Cineteatro La Perla in its historic center, the venue for the concert series and the heart of the city's cultural life. The theater, also managed in collaboration with AMAT for drama performances, offers an intimate and welcoming setting, ideal for listening to chamber music. Attending a concert here means experiencing an authentic event, far from large concert halls but close to the artistic quality of the most prestigious Italian concert series.
