Edition 2025 — Amici del Mare
The 2025 Amici del Mare Festival brought two days of celebration to Marittima, a hamlet of the municipality of Diso (LE), in the heart of the Salento summer, on August 8 and 9, 2025. In Piazza Principe Umberto, the appointment with the fried fish festival, the authentic delicious protagonist of the event, was renewed, along with the traditional "Tiru cu la Furcateddhra" tournament.
The evenings were accompanied by live concerts: among the protagonists were the Antonio Amato Ensemble, with its repertoire of pizzica and folk music, and the band FreeZap with its rock sounds. An edition that confirmed the festival as one of the most heartfelt events for the community of Marittima and for those spending the summer in lower Salento.
