Edition 2025 — Ambrosian Carnival

The 2025 Ambrosian Carnival animated Milan with the traditional Fat Saturday parade to Piazza Duomo, featuring floats, masked groups, and the traditional Meneghino and Cecca masks, confirming it as Italy's longest carnival according to the Ambrosian rite.

The 2025 edition of the Ambrosian Carnival renewed the tradition of the Milanese carnival, which according to the Ambrosian rite concludes on Fat Saturday. The grand parade crossed the city center to Piazza Duomo, with floats, colorful costumes, and masked groups.

As tradition dictates, the masks of Meneghino and Cecca, symbols of Milan's popular soul, were the protagonists. The festival, free and also spread across oratories and neighborhoods, involved thousands of people in one of the city's most cherished events.
