Edition 2025 — City of Taranto Award
The 2025 edition of the Amateur Theatre Festival confirmed the dual-competition format at the Teatro Comunale Fusco in Taranto: the 4th City of Taranto Award for Italian-language performances and the 5th Alfredo Majorano Award for Taranto dialect theatre. From January to May, amateur companies from the Ionian city took turns on the Fusco stage, evaluated by a technical jury and the audience. Once again in 2025, the event was promoted by FITA Puglia in collaboration with the Municipality of Taranto, reaffirming the festival's role as a showcase for grassroots theatre and a guardian of Puglia's linguistic traditions.
