Edition 2025 — Grammichele Amateur Theatre Festival
The 2025 edition of the Amateur Theatre Festival — City of Grammichele took place over five evenings, on July 26-27 and from August 1 to 3, in Piazza Carlo Maria Carafa, starting at 8:30 PM. Organized by the Gruppo Teatrale Mario Grosso with the patronage of the Municipality and the Sicilian Region, the festival hosted amateur companies from various provinces, concluding with an awards ceremony.
2025 Edition
The 2025 Amateur Theatre Festival — City of Grammichele was held over five evenings in Piazza Carlo Maria Carafa, starting at 8:30 PM, as part of the rich Grammichele summer calendar, with the patronage of the Municipality of Grammichele and the Sicilian Region.
- July 26 — "A Famigghia Difittusa", Associazione Show People of Caltagirone
- July 27 — "Biscotti alle Noci", Eketla Gruppo Artistico Culturale of Grammichele
- August 1 — "Mprestimi a to' Mugghieri", Associazione Teatrale Rosso Sipario
- August 2 — "Taspiettu 'Mparadisu", Associazione Teatrale Amici per di (A) Letto
- August 3 — "L'ha fatto una signora", Compagnia Teatro Angelo Musco, followed by the closing ceremony and awards
The event, designed to promote amateur theatre and encourage exchange between companies from different provinces, confirmed the strong bond between the Grammichele community and Sicilian dialect comedy and popular culture.
