Edition 2025 — Amalago Prize

The fourth edition of the Amalago Literary Prize concluded on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Villa Giulia in Verbania Pallanza with the award ceremony. The winner was Franco Bernini with the historical novel 'Il trono', selected from the three finalists in the historical genre.

The 2024/25 edition of the Amalago Literary Prize, the fourth, closed on Saturday, May 31, 2025, with the award ceremony hosted for the first time at Villa Giulia in Verbania Pallanza, starting at 10:30 AM. Franco Bernini won the Amalago Prize with Il trono (Edizioni E/O), prevailing over the other two finalists: Marina Marazza with La moglie di Dante and Agnese Pini with Un autunno d'agosto. The day confirmed the prize's formula, dedicated to historical fiction and based on reader appreciation, with the participation of authors, the jury, and students from the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola region.
