Edition 2025 — Alta Murgia Festival

The 4th edition of the Alta Murgia Festival took place at the Teatro Mercadante in Altamura from March 9 to April 6, 2025, with four Sunday concerts spanning different genres, from classical to jazz and tango nuevo. From the opening dedicated to Astor Piazzolla to the Spanish grand finale with the "Concierto de Aranjuez," the festival confirmed its formula of accessible auteur music.

The fourth edition

The fourth edition of the Alta Murgia Festival was held at the Teatro Mercadante in Altamura from March 9 to April 6, 2025, with four events always on Sunday evenings. A program that told human emotions through different musical languages, from classical to jazz.

The inaugural concert on March 9, "Astor Piazzolla: Tango Nuevo", featured bandoneonist Maestro Fabio Furia, one of the greatest interpreters of this music. The grand finale on April 6, "The Sounds of Spain", brought the Puglia Philharmonic Orchestra to the stage, conducted by Maestro Mario Ciervo with guitarist Carlotta Dalia, interpreter of Joaquín Rodrigo's famous "Concierto de Aranjuez".
