Edition 2025 — Aloha Roma
The first edition: December 6, 2025, in EUR
Everything began on a Saturday in December at the Hotel dei Congressi on Viale Shakespeare, in Rome's EUR district. From 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, the event featured beginner workshops, thematic labs, open mics, and collective jam sessions, with free entry upon mandatory online reservation.
The morning warmed up the atmosphere with a guided walk through the historic center and an ukulele flashmob coordinated by Uliano Bruner. In the afternoon, the open mic gave space to musicians of all levels, featuring original songs and covers. British master Peter Moss held a highly popular workshop dedicated to The Beatles and a well-received concert; Alessandra Scaraggi led another workshop, while Adriano Bono and the Italian Ukulele Orchestra closed the evening with an engaging and participatory set. An instrument exhibition curated by RPR Musiquality was also featured.
The edition was realized with the support of Roma Capitale — Department of Cultural Activities, as part of the 'Artes et Iubilaeum 2025' public call funded by the European Union (Next Generation EU). The organizers reported one of the most well-attended days for the Italian ukulele community: instruments always in hand, constant exchanges, and an audience present from start to finish.
