Edition 2025 — Almond Blossom Festival
77th edition in the year of the Capital of Culture
The 2025 edition of the Almond Blossom Festival took place in Agrigento from March 8 to 16, coinciding with the prestigious title of Italian Capital of Culture 2025 awarded to the city. The event combined the 66th International Folklore Festival and the 22nd 'Children of the World' Festival.
Events and awards
The program included grand parades of folk groups from Piazza Pirandello and along Viale della Vittoria, performances in theaters, the Fiesta Latina, and the Mandorlo Food Village with street food. The Golden Temple was awarded to the group from Chile; the Silver Temple to Georgia and the Bronze Temple to Serbia, with special awards to Bulgaria (dance), Canada (music), and Ecuador (costumes).
