Almabtrieb Sulden 2025

In September 2025, the autumn cattle drive returned to Sulden (Solda), a village in the municipality of Stelvio (Stilfs), in the Vinschgau Valley. As every year, the livestock descended from the high-altitude alpine pastures at the foot of the Ortler, adorned with floral crowns and decorative bells, marking a successfully concluded alpine grazing season.

Upon the arrival of the animals in the village, the day continued with a folk festival rich in South Tyrolean culinary specialties, traditional music, and local products, in a convivial atmosphere that brought together residents and visitors. An authentic appointment with the farming traditions of the Ortler area, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park.
