Edition 2025 — Almabtrieb Schlinig

The 2025 edition of the Almabtrieb in Schlinig took place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Langlaufzentrum in Slingia. The festivities began around 11:30 AM, and the livestock arrived in the valley around 12:30 PM, with the finest dairy cows adorned with flowers and cowbells. The community welcomed the herds with a rural festival featuring food and drinks typical of Upper Vinschgau.

The 2025 edition was held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Langlaufzentrum in Slingia (Schlinig), a village in Mals in the province of Bolzano. The festivities began around 11:30 AM, and the arrival of the livestock from the mountain pasture took place around 12:30 PM.

The finest dairy cows descended into the valley adorned with flowers, ribbons, and cowbells, welcomed by the community with a traditional rural festival featuring South Tyrolean culinary specialties. The event, organized by the Ferienregion Obervinschgau, confirmed the authentic atmosphere of the autumn transhumance in Vinschgau.
