The 2025 edition of the autumn cattle drive in Burgusio was held on Sunday, September 14, 2025. The festival program started at 10:30 AM at the Bar Restaurant Gerda, while the arrival of the livestock in the village was expected around 1:30 PM.

The herds from the Bruggeralm and Oberdörfer Alm descended into the valley adorned with flowers and garlands, according to the tradition celebrating an alpine summer that concluded without incident. To welcome them, the entire community of Burgusio organized a festival with local gastronomic specialties, draft beer, coffee, and homemade cakes. The soundtrack for the day was provided by the Amberg duo, for an authentic celebration at the foot of the Marienberg Abbey, in the Upper Vinschgau Valley.
