Edition 2025 — Alice in the Land of Theatre
The 12th edition of Alice in the Land of Theatre was held in Pescasseroli from August 2 to 11, 2025, promoted by the Municipality of Pescasseroli, the Teatro Stabile d'Abruzzo, and the Fantacadabra Cooperative, under the direction of playwright and director Mario Fracassi.
The programme featured a series of children's theatre performances at the Giardino Teatro dei Piccoli:
- August 2 — The Selfish Giant, a sensory performance for blindfolded spectators
- August 7 — Sogni stesi… un bucato da favola (Teatro Brucaliffo / Teatro Stabile d'Abruzzo)
- August 8 — Puss in Boots (Fantacadabra / Green Factory)
- August 9 — Animal Farm (Teatro Bertolt Brecht of Formia)
- August 10 — Sleeping Beauty? (Proscenio Teatro)
Alongside the performances, the workshops Alice – E-state in scena and The Mad Hatter took place, the latter being a clownerie workshop led by Peter Ercolano at the municipal library. The edition was a stop on the Marameo International Festival circuit.
