Alessandria October - Cinema Month

The 2025 edition of the Alessandria October - Cinema Month, the second of the event, took place in Alessandria from September 27 to November 1, 2025, confirming itself as the only film festival capable of lasting an entire month.

With the artistic direction of Luca Ribuoli and Roberto Lasagna, the program offered over 90 events in 30 venues across the city and hosted about 100 guests. Among the directors present were Lamberto Bava, Mimmo Calopresti, Saverio Costanzo, Silvio Soldini, and Maurizio Nichetti; among the performers were Anna Foglietta, Valerio Mastandrea, Alessandra Mastronardi, Lino Guanciale, and Cochi Ponzoni. Special guests also included Alberto Barbera, director of the Venice Film Festival, journalist Cecilia Sala, and science communicator Dario Bressanini.

Closing the festival was the original concert by Vinicio Capossela, "Ad Mortem Festinamus", conceived specifically for the festival. The award ceremony for the Adelio Ferrero Cinema and Criticism Award also took place as part of the event.
