Edition 2025 — Alcide Christmas Festival

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Piazza Santa Maria alle Fornaci transformed into a Christmas village at the foot of the Vatican, from 11 AM until midnight. A full day of free activities for families: creative workshops for kids, a Santa's corner, face painting, traditional wooden games, puppets, gospel, live music, and evening stand-up comedy, with food trucks and a bar open in the square.

The December 13, 2025 edition

The 2025 edition of the Alcide Christmas Festival took place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Piazza Santa Maria alle Fornaci, in Rome's Aurelio district, with continuous hours from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM and completely free admission. The day was organized by the Associazione Comitato Commercianti Alcide De Gasperi APS with the patronage of the Municipio XIII Roma Aurelio, as part of the Natale in Tredicesimo municipal Christmas calendar.

The program alternated activities for children and shows for everyone for over ten hours: creative workshops, Santa's corner, face painting, and traditional wooden games during the day; puppet theater, children's book presentations, and gospel concerts in the afternoon; live music with bands and, from 8:30 PM, a space dedicated to stand-up comedy in the evening. Food trucks and a bar area were present in the square.

Due to bad weather, some activities were moved indoors to the spaces of the Parrocchia di Santa Rita a Casalotti, with access from Via Baveno 92, without any changes to the free admission policy.

Programme

From 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM — creative workshops for children, Santa's corner, face painting, traditional wooden games; puppet shows, children's book presentations, gospel concerts; live music with bands; from 8:30 PM stand-up comedy. Food trucks and bar area in the square all day long.
