Edition 2025 — Alburni World Jazz
The 31st edition, August 2025
In 2025, the Alburni World Jazz Festival reached the milestone of its thirty-first edition with four consecutive evenings, from August 8 to 11, in Piazza Ennio D'Aniello in Serre, in the Salerno municipality at the foot of the Alburni.
It opened on Friday, August 8, with Almanegra, a blend of blues, rock, jazz, and Mediterranean roots, followed by the Jany McPherson Trio and her vocal jazz suspended between Cuba and France. Saturday, August 9, featured Stefano Di Battista and Nicky Nicolai with their quintet, performing reinterpreted standards and songs. On Sunday, August 10, Dirotta su Cuba celebrated thirty years of Italian funk, while on Monday, August 11, the Afro-blues finale was entrusted to Baba Sissoko with the Mediterranean Blues Band.
In 2025 as well, admission remained free for all evenings, with concerts starting around 9:30 PM, in the spirit of a festival that has been bringing great international jazz to inland Campania for over thirty years.
