Edition 2025 — Alberto Cesa Award

In 2025, the Alberto Cesa Award returned to Cervasca on Saturday, January 4, at 8:45 PM, in the Church of Santo Stefano Martire. The evening, the second regional selection of the national folk music competition by Folkest, featured three projects from the folk and singer-songwriter scene competing for a spot in the summer finals in San Daniele del Friuli.

The 2025 edition of the Alberto Cesa Award stopped in Cervasca on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 8:45 PM, in the Church of Santo Stefano Martire. This was the second regional selection of the competition dedicated to the Turin-born musician Alberto Cesa, organized by Folkest. On stage were three proposals: the Piedmontese duo Giulia Firpo and Stefano Eterno (with a Latin-jazz background), the Stefano Turolla Trio (Irish and American folk music), and Mauro Carrero (ethno-folk, rock, and singer-songwriter music). The semi-finalists were aiming for the national final in July 2025 at Folkest in San Daniele del Friuli.
