Edition 2025 — Donkey Palio

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, the 66th edition of the Donkey Palio was held in Alba, in the arena of Piazza Senatore Osvaldo Cagnasso. Borgo dei Brichet triumphed, while Borgo San Lorenzo won the prize for the best pageant. A day of tradition, folklore, and fun that opened the International Alba White Truffle Fair.

2025 Donkey Palio

The 2025 edition of the Alba Donkey Palio took place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in Piazza Senatore Osvaldo Cagnasso, in front of a huge crowd. The race was preceded by the traditional medieval historical pageant, with over a thousand costumed participants animating the city center.

Borgo dei Brichet claimed the banner, consolidating its lead in the event's golden roll. Borgo San Lorenzo was awarded the prize for the best pageant. As every year, the day represented the folkloric opening of the International Alba White Truffle Fair.
