Alagna Valsesia Alpine Guides Festival

The 2025 Alpine Guides Festival was held in Alagna Valsesia on Sunday, June 22. The day began with the guides gathering at the Unione Alagnese and a parade through the village streets, followed by a service in the parish church of San Giovanni Battista, animated by the Die Walser Im Land folk group. At noon, the guides performed the traditional bell tower climb, a demonstration of the mountaineering skills that have characterized the Alagna Guides Corps for over a century. The festival concluded with a convivial lunch at the Zam Tachji restaurant, in an atmosphere of friendship and community belonging at the foot of Monte Rosa.
