Aidone Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Aidone Carnival confirmed the strong bond of the town, in the Province of Enna, with its roots. Amidst confetti and music, the famous Festini marked the evenings: masked balls where, to the cry of "Gghj' n'è f'stingh?", even uninvited guests could enter and dance to the frantic rhythm of the scotz, the ancient figure dance similar to the polka. There was no shortage of the traditional u c'ddazz mask and the parade of allegorical floats and masked groups. Faithful to the title of "longest carnival," the party extended beyond Shrove Tuesday with the inevitable Carnevalone.
