Edition 2025 — Agosto Stronconese

The 43rd edition of Agosto Stronconese took place from August 20 to 30, 2025. The festival opened on August 20 with a tribute to Maestro Enrico Carraro, featuring a procession from Via Contessa to the municipal cemetery and the presentation of a new banner, followed in the evening by the reenactment of the Rescritto Imperiale in Piazza della Libertà.

The 2025 edition, the 43rd, confirmed the event's deep roots in the community of Stroncone. On the morning of August 20, a tribute was paid to Maestro Enrico Carraro, with a procession from Via Contessa to the municipal cemetery and the presentation of a new banner. In the evening, at 9:30 PM, the historical reenactment of the events of 1809 animated Piazza della Libertà with the Rescritto Imperiale.

Throughout the festival, the Locanda dei Briganti remained open from 7:00 PM, offering different gastronomic options each night, with mandatory reservations. The reenactments, processions, and historical shows accompanied the village until August 30.

Programme

Wednesday, August 20

  • 10:00 AM — Tribute to Maestro Enrico Carraro: procession from Via Contessa to the municipal cemetery and presentation of the new banner
  • 9:30 PM — Historical reenactment of 1809 with the "Rescritto Imperiale" in Piazza della Libertà

On subsequent evenings, until August 30: Corteo Storico, Cambio della Guardia, Antichi Mestieri, and opening of the Locanda dei Briganti from 7:00 PM.
