Agosto Angioino 2025 in Cittaducale

The 2025 edition of the Agosto Angioino took place from August 1st to 24th in Cittaducale, in the province of Rieti, confirming the formula that combines history, entertainment, and gastronomy. The streets and squares of the Angevin historic center provided the backdrop for the re-enactment of the village's Renaissance past, linked to the figure of Margaret of Austria.

As per tradition, the program alternated between moments of historical re-enactment—with performers in period costumes, drummers, and flag-wavers—and food and wine offerings at stalls set up in the squares, where visitors could taste typical dishes and local artisanal products. There was no shortage of evening shows, live music, theatrical performances, and entertainment for adults and children.

Beyond being a festival, the Agosto Angioino 2025 was an opportunity to promote the history and identity of Cittaducale and to enhance cultural tourism in the Velino Valley, one of the most evocative corners of Lazio.
