Edition 2025 — After one song comes another

Even before the documented 2026 edition, Casa Cervi in Gattatico (RE) has been a focal point for anti-fascist and popular choral singing. In the Red Fields of the Cervi family, choirs and singers connected to the Alcide Cervi Institute network and OltreCoro have carried on the tradition of singing as a form of memory and Resistance, in open and free days.

Casa Cervi, in Gattatico in the province of Reggio Emilia, has been a symbolic place of Italian anti-fascism and the memory of the Resistance for years. The initiatives related to popular and choral singing, promoted by the Alcide Cervi Institute in collaboration with organizations like OltreCoro, have transformed the Red Fields into a meeting space for choirs, singers, and the public. The repertoire, made up of songs of struggle, work, and the partisan tradition, accompanies moments of collective participation, workshops, and conviviality each year in the large park of the Cervi Museum, always with free admission.
