Aeolian Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Aeolian Carnival confirmed the vitality of a tradition that dates back to the 1970s in Lipari. The parades of allegorical floats and costumed groups traveled along Corso Vittorio Emanuele amidst music, dancing, and confetti, involving both residents and visitors.

As per custom, the main moments took place on Saturday and Shrove Tuesday, with the float exhibition and the awarding of the most beautiful float at the Porto Sottomonastero. There was no shortage of activities dedicated to children, the heart of an event that aims to keep the popular traditions of the Municipality of Lipari, in the Aeolian Islands, alive.
