Advent at Kastelbell Castle 2025

The 2025 edition was held from Friday, December 19 to Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Kastelbell Castle, in the Vinschgau Valley.

Friday at 5:00 PM opened with a quiet lantern procession from the village square to the manor, featuring readings of Advent and Christmas tales by Annemarie Schwarz; at 6:00 PM, the inauguration of the exhibition of paintings and marble sculptures by Bernhart Grassl took place.

On Saturday, from 2:00 PM, there were readings for children, musical accompaniment by the brass group of the Kastelbell band, and at 5:00 PM, an Advent service in the castle chapel with Dean Christoph Wiesler, accompanied by the Kastelbell women's choir.

On Sunday, the castle remained open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with new readings for children. Throughout all three days: Göflan marble sculpture garden, nativity scene with a sheep pen, evocative lighting in the castle alley, specialties and hot drinks in the courtyard, and stalls with regional products, sweets, and gift ideas.
