Ad Libitum 2025: The 11th edition
The eleventh edition of the Ad Libitum Festival was held in Polignano a Mare from June 20 to August 14, 2025, marking the start of the three-year cycle dedicated to Metamorphosis. Under the direction of Maurizio Pellegrini and organized by Epos Teatro, the programme intertwined music, theatre, and literature in various locations throughout the old town.
Performances
Among the most acclaimed events were the participatory show "Il mio nome è Odisseo" at Cala Paguro, the chamber opera "Vaga Luna" with the Ensemble Variabile at the Cloister of Sant'Antonio, the tribute to female Italian songwriting "Milleluci" with Emilia Zamuner and double bassist Massimo Moriconi, and "La caduta di Troia" directed by Sergio Maifredi on the Terrace of the Atelier Campanella. An edition that confirmed the festival as one of the leading cultural events of the Apulian summer.
